I too believe in the freedom, the freedom for which you fight.
To take whats bad and evil, and make it good and right.
You’ll die for your beliefs, I hear the words you say.
But you are still alive, while the innocents do pay.
In Gods name is what you shout, when little children die.
When you meet your God, I think he’ll ask you why.
Does it make you proud, do you get a sense of power?
When death comes falling from a shattered tower.
Do you smile, do you snigger, As your finger pulls the trigger.
Be it bomb or be it dagger,
Do you laugh while others stagger.
No my friend, somewhere inside you must feel remorse.
Nothing long term has ever been gained by force.
If we could get together, We, the innocent and you.
Let us swop shoes to see the others point of view.
Let me feel what you feel, and help to show the way.
You must feel what I feel, then together we will pray.
I will then support you to the very end.
Join with us the innocents, and let me call you friend.
